If your QC report shows Frame rate in red, your file's frame rate doesn't match the specification for your ad.
Frame rate – reading the QC report
- The value next to Frame rate is the frame rate of the uploaded file, not the required one. For example, 29.970 means the file is 29.97 frames per second (fps).
- To check the required frame rate, see Which technical specification should I use for my ad?
Frame rate – what it means
Frame rate is the number of frames shown per second. The frame rate your ad needs is set by its destination country and ad type, so always check the specification shown by the View Specs link for your ad. Digital accepts several frame rates.
Frame rate – likely cause
This is usually a wrong spec: the file was made for a different country or ad type, so its frame rate doesn't match the one your ad needs.
Frame rate – fix
- Click View Specs on your ad to see the frame rate your file must have.
- Re-export the file at that frame rate using the matching Export Guide. If your edit was made at a different frame rate, the file needs a frame rate (standards) conversion.
- Check the converted file before uploading. Conversion can cause problems such as repeated frames or ghosting, and the quality depends on the software used.
- Upload the file again.
Frame rate – when to contact Customer Success
- You’ve exported the file using the specification shown by the View Specs link for the ad in your campaign, but it still fails this check.
