If your QC report shows Width or Height in red, your file's frame size doesn't match the specification for your ad.
Width and Height – reading the QC report
- Width and Height (in the Video section) show the frame size of the uploaded file in pixels, not the required size. For example, Width 720.000 means the file is 720 pixels wide.
- To check the required size, see Which technical specification should I use for my ad? The specifications list it as Frame size.
Width and Height – what it means
Frame size is the width and height of the picture in pixels. TV specifications use a single HD frame size. Digital frame sizes depend on the aspect ratio of the ad, for example landscape, square or portrait.
Width and Height – likely cause
This is usually a wrong spec. Common causes:
- The file is standard definition (SD) or another non-HD size.
- The file was made for a different ad type or aspect ratio, for example a portrait Digital file uploaded for a TV ad.
- The frame size was changed in the export settings.
Width and Height – fix
- Click View Specs on your ad to see the frame size your file must have.
- Re-export the file at that frame size using the matching Export Guide.
- Upload the file again.
Width and Height – when to contact Customer Success
- You’ve exported the file using the specification shown by the View Specs link for the ad in your campaign, but it still fails this check.
