Issue
The file duration is incorrect (either too long or too short).
Description
The number of frames (duration) detected by the QC does not match the number of frames entered into the Campaign when the Ad was created.
Fix
Firstly, always check the campaign - this could be incorrect rather than the file.
If not add or remove any additional frames in the edit suite before re-exporting.
Our Cape Advanced TV Export Guides can help you ensure your settings are correct when exporting files.
Note
The correct duration of the file is the number of seconds x frame rate
e.g. 10” x 25 fps = 250
| Duration (Seconds) | Frame Count (25 fps) | Frame Count (29.97fps) |
| 5 | 125 | 150 |
| 10 | 250 | 300 |
| 15 | 375 | 450 |
| 20 | 500 | 599 |
| 25 | 625 | 749 |
| 30 | 750 | 899 |
| 40 | 1000 | 1199 |
| 60 | 1500 | 1798 |
Please ensure the number of mute audio frames is not affected when changing the duration of a file (UK, Ireland, Japan & Australia only).
Please note: you can always check for the exact timecode duration of a file before uploading it into Cape Advanced TV Cape Advanced TV. For more info on how to do so, please read the article below:
