If the duration of your file does not match the metadata entered on Cape Advanced TV, your file will fail the Cape Advanced TV auto QC. In the QC fail report you will see the actual duration of your uploaded file highlighted in red in the Frame Count section.
The Frame count is the duration of your file expressed with its total number of frames. For example, a 10 second file at 25 frames per second will be 250 frames (10sec x 25fps = 250 frames).
In order to convert the Frame Count into a Timecode duration you can use the Online frame calculator from Zap Studio :
- Go to Zap Studio
- Scroll to find this section -> convert frames to time
- Insert the Frame count number in frames
- Enter the correct frame rate (25fps in Europe)
- The result Timecode duration will appear in green (see screen capture below)
- Copy this Timecode and amend the metadata on your Cape Advanced TV Cape Advanced TV campaign
