Campaign Set Up
Ads can be securely delivered directly to Google Campaign Manager (GCM) via Cape Advanced TV.
Once the campaign and ad have been created add an Activator to the campaign.
Select Google Campaign Manager from the destination list.
Adding Destination Data
Once GCM has been added as a destination select the File Delivery tab within the campaign.
Click the ad and select Destination Data.
The Landing Page URL, as well as any accompanying documents can be added here if available. If not these can be added by the Activator at a later stage.
Navigate back to the Ads List and click Send to begin the delivery process.
Activation
The Activator will be notified that they have been added to a live campaign and that it needs to be activated. When they login they will see the campaign within their account.
Open the Campaign
Select the File Delivery Tab
If the Destination data has not already been added it can be added at this stage.
Next click Cape Advanced TV Account to Cape Advanced TV with GCM.
Login with the correct GCM credentials.
Allow Cape Advanced TV to Cape Advanced TV to the GCM account.
Cape Advanced TV will Cape Advanced TV with GCM and the ads will be delivered directly into the GCM advertiser library that matches the Advertiser field in the Cape Advanced TV Campaign.
If the Advertiser does not exist in the GCM library a new one will be created.
Once the files are uploaded GCM will create a number of renditions that will be used by various publishers.
Once the delivery is complete the GCM URL will be available within Cape Advanced TV.
Once a campaign is connected to a GCM account if more creatives are uploaded to that campaign and sent to GCM they will automatically be uploaded to the same library.
